1st San Francisco FBI Teen Citizens’ Academy





The San Francisco FBI is pleased to announce their first FBI Teen Citizens’ Academy.  The FBI Teen Citizens’ Academy will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at the RCFL in Menlo Park, from 8:15 am – 4:30 pm. 

 The FBI Teen Citizens’ Academy will educate high school students about the mission, goals, and inner workings of the FBI.  The Academy will include an eight-hour block of instruction in which students (11th and 12th grade) will be given several presentations on topics to include: domestic/international terrorism, public corruption, cyber, violent crimes/gangs, recruiting requirements, evidence response, SWAT, and the day to day operations of a typical FBI office.

 Entry Requirements:
> Must be a current high school student (11th or 12th grade)
> Must obtain permission from parent/guardian AND school principal or guidance counselor
> Must submit a completed application (Click here to download)
> Must agree to attend the entire one-day session
> Must be able to secure their own transportation to/from the facility, as transportation will not be provided
