SF FBI Teen Academy
The FBI San Francisco Division is pleased to announce the fall 2011 San Francisco FBI Teen Academy. The Academy will take place on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at the RCFL in Menlo Park, from 8:15 am - 5:00 pm.
The FBI Teen Academy will educate high school students about the mission, goals, and inner workings of the FBI. The Academy will include a one-day block of instruction in which students will hear several presentations on topics to include: cyber, violent crime/gangs, recruiting requirements, evidence response, SWAT, and the day to day operations of a typical FBI office.
Entry Requirements:
• Must be a current high school student (11th or 12th grade) at a Bay Area school
• Must obtain permission from parent/guardian AND school principal or guidance counselor
• Must submit a completed application (see attached)
• Must agree to attend the entire one-day session
• Must be able to secure their own transportation to/from the RCFL, as transportation will not be provided
